Girls Ministries (Girls grades K-5th)

What is Girls Ministries?

Girls Ministries is about intentional outreach and Christian discipleship for girls. We teach girls biblical truths that will help them learn to make God-pleasing decisions.  We’re here to help girls thrive in their relationships so that they can make a difference in their world.  We meet at 7pm on Wednesday nights at the PC campus and 6pm on Sunday nights at the CT campus.

Our Vision

To see every girl moving toward a deep relationship with Jesus Christ.  We seek to empower girls to realize their importance and potential in the kingdom of God.  We seek a future where girls and leaders — through mentoring and discipleship — form lasting, life-changing friendships.

Why just for girls?

Gender specific ministry is crucial for developing girls into women of God. Girls are faced with so much confusion and temptation in their daily lives, but in a setting catered to girls they can connect with each other and an older mentor who can invest in them through Bible study and activities and help them grow in their faith and discover the answers to the questions they face.

Daises (Kindergarten)

This branch of Girls Ministries is designed specifically for Kindergarten aged girls, and teaches them how to make life applications from the Bible stories and principles they learn. The Daisies mission statement is “to be happy, good, and helpful, letting my light shine for Jesus.”

Prims (1st and 2nd Grade)

This branch of Girls Ministries is designed specifically for 1st and 2nd grade girls, and uses life application stories to teach girls life principles. The Prims mission statement is “to be careful of what I say, where I go, and what I do; trying always to be my very best for the Lord Jesus, because I love Him.”

 Stars (3rd – 5th Grade)

This branch of Girls Ministries is designed specifically for 3rd – 5th grade girls, and teaches them about basic Christian doctrine, missions, activities and opportunities to serve, and character development. Memorization, Bible reading, and projects are all a part of earning a Stars badge. The mission statement of the Stars is “to follow Him in service, in testimony, in attitude, and in relationships; striving always to glorify my Lord as a Star.”
