Life360 Kids
The average child will spend over 1000 hours every year in school and they will spend less than 50 hours in church. The average parent has more than 10 times the opportunities to discuss spiritual issues in one year than a church leader does in 10 years. The church has limited potential to impact the heart of your child. What happens at home in many ways is more important than what happens at church!
We need you to help us help your kids by doing 3 things.
1. Bring your kids to Sunday School.
Be sure to help them attend on a consistent basis, with the same group of friends and the same leader every week. We use curriculum from Gospel Publishing House that cycles through the entire Bible every three years. By the time your child leaves Life360 Kids they will have a solid Biblical foundation.
2. Make Family Night Service a priority.
Don’t miss this window of opportunity in your child’s life to do something with them. Royal Rangers and Girl’s Ministries work with you to help you impact your child’s spiritual life. From outings and pinewood derbys to reading the Bible together at home, our clubs help provide you as a parent with opportunities to connect with your kids as they learn life skills.
3. Talk about it every week at home.
Remember, no one can have more influence on your child’s faith than you can as a parent. Take time to talk with your kids about children’s church. Talk about the message in the main sanctuary after Family Worship Sunday. God is using you to raise a Godly man or woman out of your son or daughter!
